Please note, I said GUARANTEED TRAFFIC and not just “Traffic”. It’s also traffic from one of my favorite paid sources which are solo ads. This can be something of a minefield, especially if you’re getting started as it’s possible to get an unscrupulous vendor that either sends you JUNK traffic or doesn’t send out at all. What Are Solo Ads?

In a nutshell, you are running an advertisement or “ad” with a vendor that ALREADY OWNS a list in your niche. A solo ad vendor will mail out your ad to his/her list for a price and in exchange you will get get the opportunity to receive “Warm” traffic from that persons list using ad copy that you provide. That ad copy will INCLUDE a call to action that contains a link to your squeeze page. When a recipient of your ad from the vendors list clicks on your link that’s counted as a click (visit) to your website.

Solo Ad vendors typically price up their TRAFFIC at a certain amount in cents per click. So, for example if you bought 100 clicks from a solo ad vendor you would get 100 clicks from their list for $40 as a result of their mailing. In my experience most solo ad vendors tend to OVERDELIVER on clicks by around 5-10% (but not always).

As an example, if you bought a 100 click solo ad from a vendor and your squeeze page converted at 40% you would have 40 new leads/subscribers on your list, which means you would be paying out an average of $1 per lead. Once you have these subscribers on your list they are YOURS for as long as they remain on your list, so it’s a great way to build up your list over time and most vendors deliver all their clicks in around 72 hours. This is especially easy to do in the internet marketing niche as there are an abundance of solo ad vendors out there that will mail for you.

The Problem

The only issue with solo ads from a customers perspective is knowing who to order your clicks from. Over time through trial and error if you purchase from vendors directly you will get to know who is reliable and delivers quality traffic, but it is possible to get burnt on occasion doing things this way. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not scaremongering here, it doesn’t happen with great regularity but it does happen occasionally and when it does you’ll get a bunch of junk/useless traffic or the vendor will fail to deliver some or all of the clicks.
